Fundraising....glass raising

Glen and the girls and I went to a fundraising event in Bickley at Hainault Winery yesterday evening. It was to raise funds for the Armadale Domestic Violence Intervention Program. We also raised our wine glasses (with some delightful gold medal winning, Cab Sav) and applauded the musicians that played including a local talent, Jonathan West. He plays all those old songs that were before our time, but we somehow knew the words anyway! Hainault Winery has some resident Alpacas, that smiled for the camera and as the sun went down , it was fun to sit back and enjoy the songs. We also went to listen to our neighbour, John Belton, play his guitar and harmonica and sing some great tunes. John also plays in a small trio called Three of a Kind. (Short,Fat and Old is how he describes them). It was nice to do something different.
